Understanding Your IELTS Scores

The IELTS test assesses your language proficiency across four sections: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. Each section is scored individually on a band scale from 1 (non-user) to 9 (expert), and your final IELTS score is the average of these four scores, rounded to the nearest half or whole band.

Here is a general breakdown:

Considering a Revaluation – IELTS Enquiry on Results

If you feel that your score doesn’t accurately reflect your performance, you may request a revaluation, known as the Enquiry on Results (EOR). Here’s how it works:
  • Select the Sections: You can choose to have one or multiple sections re-evaluated.
  • Submit Within 6 Weeks: The request must be submitted within six weeks of your test date.
  • Processing Time: Revaluation results are generally available within 2-21 days.
